State-owned gas supplier Bulgargaz has forecasted a reduction in the price of natural gas by approximately 2% for September. The company stated that next month’s gas supply will primarily come from its long-term contract with Azerbaijan and the gas storage facility in Chiren.
The final price for September will be officially approved by the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (KEVR) on the first day of the month. This decision will follow an update to Bulgargaz’s proposal based on the latest market conditions and a public discussion scheduled for the end of August.
