The overhaul of the Pancevo oil refinery begins on March 1 and will last until April 17, oil company NIS announced. NIS added that the Serbian market will be adequately supplied with all types of petroleum products during this period. Due to the increased production volume in previous months, sufficient stock quantities were secured for the duration of the works.
During this period, planned overhaul and investment works will be carried out on most processing facilities, enabling the improvement of production processes and increasing the reliability of operations at the NIS processing complex. All activities will be conducted by strict environmental standards and occupational health and safety rules.
This overhaul represents the largest in terms of volume and complexity in the history of the Pancevo refinery, with the value of works and development investments estimated at 95 million euros.
The overhaul plans to execute more than ten investment projects, as well as a significant number of investment maintenance projects. Overhaul activities include equipment inspection and pressure testing, as mandated by Serbian regulations.
