Net electricity production in Slovenia in November 2023 increased by 20% compared to the previous month, to 1,053 GWh, the Statistical office said.
Compared to November 2022, electricity production was up by 36%.
The November output of the hydropower plants increased by 27% monthly and soared 79% yearly to 520 GWh.
The output of the thermal power plants in Slovenia totalled 309 GWh in November, up 180% on the year and down 7% month-on-month, while nuclear power plant Krsko produced 193 GWh of electricity last month, down 46% on the year and up 128% on a monthly comparison basis.
In November, Slovenia imported 863 GWh of electricity and exported 790 GWh. Imports fell 10% compared to the previous month, while exports increased 2%.
On an annual comparison basis, imports declined 17% and exports went up 22%.
