Slovenian households paid 0.181 euros per kWh of electricity and 0.097 euros per kWh of natural gas in the first three months of 2023. Compared to the fourth quarter of 2022, electricity prices increased by 5% and gas prices rose by 2%, according to the data published by the Statistical Office.
The average electricity price for industrial consumers in the period January – March 2023 amounted to 0.224 euros/kWh without VAT. That is a 17% increase compared to the previous quarter.
Natural gas prices for industrial consumers increased by 22% compared to the fourth quarter of 2022 and amounted to 0.087 euros/kWh without VAT.
