State-owned power utility Elektroprivreda Srbije’s electricity exports totalled 49 million euro in the first quarter of 2023, the company’s acting CEO Miroslav Tomasevic said.
In March alone, EPS’ earnings from electricity exports amounted to 32.5 million euro, Tomasevic was quoted as saying in a press release last week.
EPS turned to a net loss of 79.488 billion dinars in the first nine months of 2022.
Earlier this month, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) signed a loan agreement worth $300 million with Serbia to provide liquidity to the country’s electricity sector and support its green transition, SeeNews reported.
