Bulgarian state-owned natural gas transmission system operator Bulgartransgaz recorded a net profit in the amount of 40.5 million euros in the first nine months of 2021, compared to a net profit of 34.2 million euros in the same period last year, mainly due to higher revenues.
The company’s revenues increased to 189 million euros in the first nine months of the year from 144 million euros in 2020. On the other hand, technological expenses rose to 13.3 million euros from 9.5 million euros, but the majority the company’s expenses was due to amortisation and depreciation costs, which rose to 67.5 million euros from 40.7 million euros in the first nine months of 2020.
The company’s assets amounted to over 2.7 billion euros at the end of September 2021, up from 2.6 billion euros at the end of 2020.
