Despite the cold temperatures, coal and overburden production in the open pit mines of MB “Kolubaraā€¯ during the previous day was within the planned amount. A slight difficulty emerged during the transport to the TPP “Nikola Tesla”, due to problems with switches on the track and the frozen coal inside the wagons.
Operating competence of the systems as well as of the drives in the “Kolubara Processing Plant” is at a high level, so “Kolubara” is ready to maintain the level of production in accordance with all requirements even in more extreme conditions.
Aware of its national responsibility in the secure electricity supply system, MB “Kolubara” will continue to produce coal for the thermal power plants with maximum effort.
