German S-Tech Energie interested in solar panels production in south Serbia

Regional chamber of commerce Leskovac and German chamber of commerce in cooperation with german company S-Tech Energie organized a meeting with representatives of local municipalities of districts Jablanica and Pcinj for assessment on solar energy exploration in this area.

German company S-Tech Energie is interested in construction of solar energy parks in South of Serbia, according to the company representatives south Serbia has excellent unused solar energy potentials, large number of sunny days and competitive advantages for RES projects development.

As it was stated on the meeting in Leskovac chamber, german company require land for lease and erection of solar parks.

Representatives of the german company stated that the solar park can be erected in few months, for the time being they are searching for suitable locations.

The construction of one solar park would cost 5 MEUR, electricity production facility and kwh to be sold to Energy company of Serbia under very incentive FiT.

According to the market report on solar and PV energy potentials in Serbia, such projects development is expected to increase in coming years. Serbia has significant incentive RES system, Feed in Tariff for solar and pv energy are one of the best in the region.
